We're thrilled to announce that condo boards and property managers using managemate can now receive reminders and activity notifications, both in-app and in their email inboxes!

Notifications are a great way to stay on top of work progress and deadlines. With the ever-increasing number of activities we need to complete, it is easy to forget important routine tasks and deadlines. Notifications provide a timely reminder of what needs to be done and when it needs to be done.

Plus, notifications will help you keep track of new activity in your managemate account, including new documents added and invoice approval related activity.

Customized Experience

Managemate's new notifications feature lets users customize their notification preferences. Users can choose to receive reminders about due dates, notifications for newly added documents, or notifications for invoice approval activity. Users can also choose whether they would like to receive their notifications in-app or in their email inboxes, or both! We group some email notifications into a daily digest email, so that we don’t inundate users with too many emails.

Keep organized, reduce stress and improve efficiency

As a property manager or board member of a condominium, staying organized and on top of important dates and deadlines is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of the community. With so many responsibilities, it can be easy to lose track of everything that needs to be done. This is where notifications with reminders and activity updates can be extremely helpful. Whether sent by email or displayed in-app, these notifications can help property managers and board members stay organized, informed, and in control.

When property managers and board members are organized and informed, they are also better able to handle their responsibilities and make informed decisions. This can help reduce stress and improve efficiency, as they are able to focus on the tasks at hand, rather than worrying about what they may have forgotten.

Prioritize important work

One of the biggest benefits of getting notifications is that it helps property managers and board members prioritize their action items, project milestones and other work that has deadlines. By receiving reminder notifications before things are due, managers can focus on completing the work in front of them. This ensures that deadlines are met and nothing falls through the cracks.

Stay up-to-date

Notifications can help board members stay connected and get visibility into what their property manager has been working on.

With daily digest emails that summarize new documents, projects, vendors and invoices that have been created that day, board members can see and find the latest information about their condo’s operations, without needing to comb through several email updates. This makes it easy to collaborate and stay up-to-date with what everyone is working on. Daily digests are sent automatically, saving property managers time from having to send updates as information comes in from vendors or work gets completed.

Notifications also help users stay on top of important dates. As a property manager or board member, there are many deadlines and activities due dates that need to be remembered, such as maintenance inspections, board meetings, and regulatory reporting deadlines. By setting up reminders and activity notifications, property managers and board members can ensure that these important dates are never missed.

Save time

Notifications can save board members and property managers’ time. By receiving reminders for activities that are due soon, invoice due dates, or contract expiry dates, users can avoid having to manually check to see what needs to be done next. This frees up time and allows users to focus on completing tasks more efficiently.

Improve communication

Using reminders and events notifications can also improve communication between property managers, board members, and residents. By keeping everyone on the board and property managers informed of upcoming events and deadlines, property managers and board members will be better prepared to share key information with owners and tenants, because they are more aware of what is happening in their community. This can help improve resident satisfaction and create a more cohesive and engaged community.

Customize notifications to fit your needs

Another benefit of using reminders and events notifications is the ability to customize them to fit your specific needs. Whether you prefer to receive notifications by email or have them displayed in-app, you can set them up to ensure that you receive the information you need, when you need it. You can also customize the type of notifications you receive, allowing you to stay informed in the way that works best for you.

Conclusion

In conclusion, using reminders and activity notifications is a great way for property managers and board members of condominiums to stay organized, informed, and in control. By using these tools, they can stay on top of important dates, reduce stress, improve efficiency, improve communication, and customize their notifications to fit their specific needs. If you are a property manager or board member, we encourage you to explore the options available for reminders and events notifications and start reaping the benefits today.
